KEY POINTS:
A man has been arrested after a home invasion in Tauranga last weekend.
Police said the 59-year-old Rotorua man had been charged with aggravated robbery after an armed gang broke into a house occupied by three people and a five-month-old baby girl on Sunday morning.
After tying up and blindfolding the adults the gang searched the house before leaving with a number of goods and a Jeep Cherokee.
Detective Sergeant Darryl Brazier, of Tauranga police, said the three victims were traumatised by the invasion.
It appeared there was some relationship between them and offenders, and it was not a random attack.
He said police were still searching for three other people in connection with the crime.
