Army officer accused of assault and drunkenness

An army officer will face a court martial on Monday accused of assaulting a female and drunkenness.

The court martial will begin at Trentham Military Camp in Upper Hutt on Tuesday.

The army said no further information relating to the charges would be made available until the court martial begins.
