Three New Zealand Army medics in Afghanistan have been put in a military prison after being found guilty of substance abuse.
Defence Minister Wayne Mapp told One News the men had inhaled Penthrax, a drug normally used for emergency pain relief.
"Frankly, you expect higher standards, especially from that crew. It's a betrayal of trust," Dr Mapp said.
