North Shore police are hunting two men who burst into a hotel and threatened staff with a shotgun.
The men entered the Albany Tavern on State Highway 17 about 5.55pm and pointed a double-barrell shotgun at the bartender, Detective Darren Attwood said.
They took cash from one of the tills in the main sports area and a safe they made the bartender open.
The robbery was over in less than a minute and the men escaped in what has been described as a white Subaru station wagon or a similar vehicle.
