KEY POINTS:
CHRISTCHURCH - A Blenheim man has been charged with burglary and receiving after Nelson police armed offenders squad (AOS) was called out yesterday to help Blenheim police search two separate properties.
The 22-year-old was held in police custody overnight and was to appear in Blenheim District Court today.
Constable Dan Mattison, of Blenheim police, said the AOS was called out because the search warrants related to recently stolen guns.
He said another man was likely to face charges today resulting from the searches.
