A shopkeeper has described his terrifying ordeal as a pair of armed robbers pointed a gun at his head.
Ravi Khattar, 56, was closing his Tuhikaramea Superette in Hamilton when the men burst in at 8.15pm on Friday.
The brazen robbers, who have been linked to three armed robberies within 24 hours, demanded money and cigarettes from Khattar.
"I was just feeling helpless because somebody was in front of you with a pistol and you can't do anything at the time," he said.
Police say the spree began on Thursday night when men, believed to be the same pair, entered a Super Liquor Lynden Court, Chartwell.
