Armed men threaten man in his Christchurch home

Two men forced themselves into a Christchurch home and threatened a man with a gun.

Police said the incident happened at an address on Langdons Rd in Papanui about 3.30pm yesterday.

A car stopped at the end of the driveway and two men got out and entered the house.

Police did not say whether anyone was injured or anything was stolen.

They are looking for sightings of a red car, possibly a Mitsubishi Lancer, which was not old but was not in good condition.

Anyone who may have seen the vehicle in the area, or who may have any information about the incident, should contact police.
