HEAVY FABRICATION APPRENTICES
RCR Energy Manufacturing is recruiting for Heavy Fabrication (Boilermaker/Welder) Apprentices for their Dannevirke plant. On successful completion of the apprenticeship, candidates will receive the National Certificate in Engineering - Fabrication, Level 4.
If you enjoy working with your hands, are physically fit and are able to visualise how an object should look from a drawing, you may have the aptitude for working as a Boilermaker/ Welder.
Ideally candidates will:
• have completed year 11;
• have NCEA Level 1 including Maths, English, Graphics and Technology,
• have the ability to understand drawings and measurements
• have an interest in working with metals and an understanding of welding
• be mechanically minded, good with your hands and have an eye for detail,
• be passionate about an engineering career,
• be highly motivated with a mature, positive attitude.
Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate motivation, a commitment to safety and quality, and a genuine interest in completing a trade apprenticeship.
