Police are appealing for sightings of a man who escaped custody in June after being arrested for the aggravated robbery of a business in the town Kihikihi, 5km south of Te Awamutu.
Allan Gray escaped from Gisborne District Court in June after being arrested for the aggravated robbery of Kihikihi Post Bank in July last year, Detective Sergeant Ross Patterson, of Waipa police, said.
Gray should not be approached and any sightings should be reported immediately to police, Mr Patterson said.
He is described as a 175cm tall Maori, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, socks and jandals.
