KEY POINTS:
Police have issued a second plea for help in locating a man, missing for five months.
Harold Alamoti Taipa Skudder was last seen by relatives in the Taita Shopping Centre, Lower Hutt, in late January.
Detective Sergeant Scott Cooper said Mr Skudder had no permanent home, worked on a casual basis and didn't have a bank account or a vehicle when he went missing.
"There's nothing to indicate Mr Skudder's disappearance is suspicious, and he doesn't have any health issues that we're aware of," Mr Cooper said.
He said no one had heard from Mr Skudder, despite police making a similar appeal to the public back in April.
Mr Cooper said apart from an unconfirmed sighting, police did not receive any substantial information back in April.
"We're none the wiser," Mr Cooper said.
Mr Skudder is described as a 38 year-old Maori, approximately 175-180cm tall, with heavily tattooed hands and arms. When Mr Skudder was last seen he had long grey hair and a grey beard.
