Apology to Carlos Perera

A story titled "Church silence deepens aids crisis, says bishop", published on October 27, said Mr Carlos Perera was HIV-positive.

Mr Perera says he is not HIV-positive. The New Zealand Herald accepts this and apologises to Mr Perera for the mis-statement.
