The latest public mural by Kiwi artist Owen Dippie is under way in central Auckland.
Dippie's work, Hine, is a large-scale work in spray paint applied to an apartment building on Upper Queen St in the CBD.
The mural is of his friend, known only as Tania, and is the latest in his impressive repertoire of spray paint murals.
His other works have included large-scale depictions of The Girl with a Pearl Earring, Biggie Smalls, Albert Einstein, Johnny Cash, Ina te Papatahi and Nelson Mandela.
