AOS callout in Botany Downs

The Armed Offenders Squad has been called to an incident in the Auckland suburb of Botany Downs, Newstalk ZB has reported.

A police communications did not know the details of the callout but said Otara police were involved.

John Paul told Newstalk ZB the area near the Chapel Road shops is blocked off with half a dozen police cars are lining a side street, and had seen Armed Offender Squad officers in black uniforms.
