Anzac name pays off to tune of $5000

Retired Napier man Brian Duggan has sold his domain name, www.anzac.net.nz, for $5050 to the trust which runs the Army museum at Waiouru.

Mr Duggan said the online auction showed "advertising pays" after controversy over the commercial use of the word "Anzac" blew up when bidding for the site was languishing at just $199 on Tuesday afternoon.
