One ward of Waikato Hospital remains closed as the hospital in Hamilton continues to fight a norovirus outbreak.
Waikato District Health Board infectious control committee chairman Dr Graham Mills said the closure of the coronary care extension ward would be reassessed this morning.
Since the outbreak was first identified 11 days ago, 31 staff and 20 patients had suffered norovirus symptoms.
