A group of New Zealand climbers will leave this month for Antarctica with plans to climb Mt Parry.
The group hope to take a previously unexplored route to the remote 2520m summit, which is on 33km-long Brabant Island, in British Antarctic Territory.
It will be the last of seven adventures funded through Hillary Expedition Grants awarded by Sport and Recreation New Zealand last year.
