Another person was stabbed in Queenstown yesterday, in the fourth violent assault in the resort in less than a fortnight.
The 16-year-old youth was stabbed in the chest, during a fight in Rees St, in central Queenstown, about 5.15pm.
Sergeant Cameron Sigley, of Queenstown, said the weapon was a small kitchen knife, about 15cm long.
The wound was classed as "moderate and not life-threatening".
A 17-year-old Queenstown youth was arrested soon after and charged with wounding with reckless disregard. He will appear in the Queenstown District Court today.
