After a promising start, Aucklanders have once again largely ignored this year's local body elections.
With one day of voting left, 35.18 per cent of Aucklanders have cast a vote. The final vote is tracking for 37.6 per cent, only marginally better than the 35.5 per cent turnout in 2013.
Midway through the three-week voting period, it looked like the vote would be about 43 per cent, but it has steadily tracked downwards in the past nine days.
Voting closes at midday tomorrow, but there is still time for people to take their votes to a library, council centre or the electoral office.
If you want to vote but are not sure whether your are on the electoral roll or know you are not on the electoral roll, you will need to:
