Another aftershock has hit Christchurch this afternoon.
The magnitude 3.8 quake struck at 1pm. It was centred within 5km of Christchurch at a depth of 6km.
This afternoon's quake followed two earlier today. At 6.20am, there was another 3.8 shock centred 20km west of Darfield at a depth of 12km, and a 3.5 magnitude quake struck at 3.12am, 10km south-west of Christchurch at a depth of 10km.
