Andrew Turnbull woke up this week to find fire engines surrounding a crashed school bus in his front garden.
Now, he's upset the principal of the school involved.
Fraser High School principal Martin Elliott says Mr Turnbull's attempt to sell wreckage from the Hamilton crash on Trade Me was in "poor taste".
"I just think the morality of the whole Trade Me thing is just bizarre," he said.
"If the guy selling the parts wants to make some money, I'll arrange for a vehicle to be driven through his house, and I could sell bits of it for him."
Mr Turnbull was unrepentant yesterday, saying: "I'm doing it for a bit of fun. Nothing bad happened from it, the only harm was the bricks and mortar."
The highest bid for a part was $10.
Two students among the 50 on board the bus when it crashed were taken to hospital with minor cuts.
