Kicking off our three-week tour of the country checking out the job scene for young people.
For the young people of New Zealand, one question always arises - what do I want to do with my life?
Over the next three weeks, we - Andrew Hughes and Olivia Wix - are travelling the country trying to answer that question as we go in search of the ideal job.
We'll be talking to people about what they do, why the do it, how they got into it, and, almost as importantly, what they get up to at the weekend.
We'll be posting videos from each city as well as tweeting and facebooking throughout the day. You'll also be able to check out our blogs right here on nzherald.co.nz
Starting in Queenstown and working our way up to Auckland, we'll be travelling by train, ferry and bus, passing through Dunedin, Christchurch, Greymouth, Wellington, Palmerston North, Taupo, Rotorua and Tauranga.
We'll explore a diverse range of jobs, and uncover jobs you never knew existed.
We'll go boy racing in Christchurch, have a night out on the town with Dunedin students, go mining in Greymouth, check out the art scene in Wellington and hit the beach at the Mount.
We'll also be having a beer or a coffee with the mayors in some of the cities and towns we visit finding out what they can offer you, and whether a new city, and a new career is an option.
If you're from any of these places, and you think you've got an interesting, or awesome, job - let us know. We'd love to come and check it out.
Our videos and blogs will be here on nzherald.co.nz
