Fans gathering at Shed 10 on Auckland's waterfront are settling in for a wait as bad weather delays the start of America's Cup racing.
Storms in Auckland this morning have made things uncomfortable on Queens Wharf as well, with workers quickly trying to mop up water on the floor as the shed fills up.
Most fans are staying optimistic about Emirates Team New Zealand's chances after a disappointing day of racing yesterday.
Carole and Rob Green celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary yesterday and said they wanted to continue the celebrations at Shed 10 this morning.
"We want to see that Aussie bastard flattened," said Mr Green.
