A crumpled ambulance was towed away from a busy Auckland intersection after a collision with a car today.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the intersection of Te Irirangi Drive, Ti Rakau Drive and Botany Rd about 4.40pm.
It is understood no one was injured in the crash.
Footage of the St John ambulance being loaded onto a tow truck shows the whole front of the vehicle crumpled on impact.
The ambulance bonnet was wrenched up and its front bumper trailed on the ground - but the emergency lights were still flashing.
