The man believed responsible for an early morning van-ramming rampage almost one month ago has been arrested.
Police had been searching for Raquada-Charles Edwards after he allegedly chased his partner and rammed the van she was hiding in a dozen times before fleeing the scene in Hastings on February 5.
It was previously believed he might have left the region, and that he was being helped to continue avoiding arrest.
Police arrested him on Thursday night and he appeared in the Hastings District Court the following afternoon, where he was remanded in custody to reappear on March 27.
He faces two charges of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and three of operating a motor vehicle recklessly causing injury.
