The game could be up for three young people who allegedly robbed and assaulted an Auckland taxi driver after police released their photos.
The trio - two females and a male - were picked up in Queen Street about 3.15am on October 2.
They directed the driver to Garnet Road, telling him to stop near a bus stop close to Old Mill Road, a police spokesman said.
"While there, the front seat male passenger grabbed the CCTV camera from inside the taxi and ripped it out," he said.
"The driver, who was outside the vehicle, was then pushed over and the three passengers ran from the scene along Garnet Rd towards Larchwood Ave."
