A woman who hit three pedestrians with her car before crashing it in Redcliffs has been arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol.
Police and emergency services attended the crash on Main Road in the Christchurch suburb earlier today.
Police said it appeared the 45-year-old female driver failed to take a corner correctly, hitting three pedestrians walking on the footpath.
"One pedestrian has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, while the other two pedestrians who received minor injuries were treated at the scene," police said.
