"They said it had more cars in it than before and they have done the car marshalling for several years."
There were food and craft stalls, all-day live entertainment, raffles, a magician, pony and Clydesdale rides, vintage cars and machinery, country sports and helicopter rides.
Many of the rides were busy all day, said Mrs Dunn.
"Tim Williams was giving helicopter rides. He was flat tack, he had a marvellous day."
She said stall holders were happy with the number of people coming through.
"A few said it was the best day they had had for quite some time, regarding the takings.
"The weather certainly contributed to that. People were loving the entertainment, there were different music groups all day.
"All in all, it was a highly successful day."
The fair association puts any money left over into the next year's fair and local initiatives.
"In the last seven years, the association has given around $16,000 to local initiatives," said Mrs Dunn.
"In the past we have helped the Mauriceville School, the Lutheran church, and we've given money to the local fire service."
Mrs Dunn said it took a lot of work to organise with not much of a breather before the next fair.
"Once this event is over, I'll have a bit of rest and get started on the next one," she said.
