Government has appointed an all-star lineup of film-makers to its new Screen Advisory Board.
The board, announced in December, was designed to help the New Zealand movie industry compete internationally and to attract foreign investment.
When it was established, Titanic and Avatar director James Cameron and producer Jon Landau committed to being inaugural members on the board.
This commitment was part of Government's agreement with several studios to film the next three Avatar films in New Zealand.
The two American film-makers will be joined by New Zealand film heavyweights Sir Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Andrew Adamson, and Jane Campion.
