All one-way traffic for Eketahuna in club rugby contest

Eketahuna are making a one-horse race of the preliminary rounds of the Wairarapa-Bush Rugby Union's senior first division competition.
After winning 12 of their 13 games and picking up 11 bonus points, all but one of them for scoring four or more tries, they are sitting on 59pts, a massive 19pts clear of their nearest opposition.
Remarkably, four teams, Marist, Greytown-Tuhirangi, Gladstone and Carterton, are sharing second place, all with 40pts. They have each won eight of their 13 matches.
In sixth place, and in danger of missing the top four playoffs, is Pioneer with 32pts, followed by East Coast 30, Martinborough 27, Masterton Red Star 8 and Puketoi 6.

There's little room to spare at the top of the competition table in the President's grade with Gladstone and Greytown-Tuhirangi making the pace on 53pts, Pioneer third on 50pts and Eketahuna fourth on 44pts.
Then follow Martinborough 30pts, Masterton Red Star 28pts, Featherston 28pts, Carterton 25pts and East Coast 11pts.
