All Interislander ferry sailings today have been cancelled owing to rough weather in Cook Strait, Toll Shipping said.
The company said it decided not to sail because of winds gusting up to 45 knots with swells of 6m expected to rise to 8m during the day.
Toll would review the decision later in the day, a spokeswoman said.
