KEY POINTS:
Two All Blacks last night joined the throng of outraged passengers demanding Air New Zealand reinstate its in-flight biscuits.
Frequent flyer and All Black lock Ali Williams couldn't see the sense in axing the biscuits on main domestic routes.
"Why would you want to do that? It's stupid," he said at Auckland Airport yesterday. Williams - who played in last year's Air New Zealand Cup - then joked: "I'll have a word to the sponsors."
All Black hooker Keven Mealamu, a fan of the chocolate chip biscuits, also called for them to be brought back.
"It gives you something to do on the plane," said the front rower.
Dozens of Herald online readers shared the rugby players' views, and one called the airline "miserly cheapskates".
