Alert after powder found outside dairy

Ten people were put through decontamination showers after an unidentified powder was found outside a Clevedon Village dairy last night.

A Fire Service spokesman said the dry white powder was found spilled in front of the dairy about 9.20pm.

The service set up the showers after one person complained of a sore throat.

The area was still cordoned off early this morning.
