If you thought the world needed another superband, you're in luck, Tired Pony are here.

Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody has indulged a long-held dream and formed a group with REM's Peter Buck and Belle & Sebastian's Richard Colburn.

Sarcasm aside, the band's newly released album, The Place We Ran From, isn't half bad. It's safe country-rock that doesn't stray from the middle of the road.
