The airport warehouse of a major international freight company has been evacuated after reports of smoke in the ceiling.
Seven fire crews are headed to the Auckland-based DHL Logistics at Manu Tapu Drive.
Northern Fire Service shift manager Jaron Phillips said firefighters were investigating smoke in the ceiling space.
Nearby businesses report alarms are sounding inside the large freight building and all staff have been evacuated.
