Airport smoke alarm

Part of Auckland International Airport's terminal was evacuated last night after staff reported smelling something smouldering in the baggage department.

The Fire Service said three fire trucks and the airport's own fire crew were called just after 10pm.

A cigarette butt was found the be source of the smell.
