A 45-year-old Auckland man has appeared in court charged with recklessly discharging a firearm.
David Te Hianga Gemmell, unemployed, of Sandringham, is accused of firing an airgun at two Mt Albert Grammar students cleaning litter at the back of the school.
His bail application was refused and he is due to reappear tomorrow.
