A light aircraft has made a hard landing at Ardmore Airport southeast of Auckland.
Police were alerted to the incident about 5.20pm today.
Nobody aboard the airplane was believed to be injured, a police media spokeswoman said.
Fire Emergency New Zealand also attended the call-out.
The airport is situated about
33km from Auckland's CBD and is used for general aviation and flight training.
