Air NZ staff opt to go

Twenty-five staff at Air New Zealand's Christchurch base have opted to take voluntary redundancy.

The airline said in October that it would axe up to 23 jobs among check-in and ground handling staff at Christchurch after it failed to win a new contract with Australian budget carrier Jetstar.
