KEY POINTS:
Air New Zealand is to review the performance of Bombardier Q-400 aircraft before any decision is made on whether to buy them.
Air NZ took an option to buy 13 of the 70-seat Bombardier Q-400s when it ordered 17 Q-300 planes in October 2005, but the later model has been banned by Scandinavian Airlines because of landing gear problems.
Air NZ's corporate communications manager, Tracey Palmer said the airline was extremely pleased with the performance of its Q-300 fleet.
