An Air New Zealand plane has made an emergency landing after the crew noticed a problem just after take-off.
The Beech 1900 had twelve passengers and two crew members on board when it left Gisborne.
The pilot noticed a vibration from the front of the plane, and it was diverted from Wellington to Blenheim.
A full scale emergency was declared and Woodbourne Airport was cordoned off.
The plane has since touched down safely with no injuries reported.
The Civil Aviation Authority has been notified.
