Air New Zealand is warning the public to be wary of automated calls, claiming to be from the airline.
The scam calls apparently offer prizes or airfare credits, as an enticement to hand over personal details.
Anyone who receives such a call is advised not to hand over information, and hang up.
An Air New Zealand spokesperson says they're just one of many Kiwi brands being used by scammers.
