Air Nelson pilots have reached a settlement with the company and industrial action planned for Monday has been cancelled, it was revealed today.
The Airline Pilots' Association said a deal was struck in bargaining for a new collective agreement last night.
It will give pilots salary increases of almost eight per cent over a three-year period and enhance superannuation entitlements.
The parties have also committed to exploring a different pay scheme that could result in more efficient rosters that better rewards pilots for productive flight hours.
Airline Pilots' Association president Glen Kenny said the ratification process would take a few weeks to complete.
