The air force will hold a three-day air show next year to celebrate its 80th birthday.
For three days, from February 24 to 26, the skies over Manawatu will play host to the aerial carnival.
Centred at the Royal New Zealand Air Force base at Ohakea, the show promises a long weekend "jam-packed with displays from the RNZAF fixed-wing aircraft and helicopter fleets, the formation aerobatic team, and the parachute training squadron".
