Seddon residents had another shaky night, with several small aftershocks from last week's quake.
GeoNet reported nine tremors between 10pm last night and 6am today, the strongest a magnitude 4.0 at 5.28am, located 15km east of Seddon at a depth of 16km.
The Mercalli intensity was 5, and GeoNet reports show the quake was felt in Blenheim and Wellington.
Other shakes ranged in magnitude from 2.5 to 3.7, and were centred between 5km and 20km from Seddon.
