Their taste in fashion is, well, challenged.
For years they have been kidding themselves that green and yellow are the new black.
So, at the game tonight, please forgive the Australian supporters' fashion crimes.
A few might attend the game undercover, but we'll be able to spot them when they break into their national anthem.
After the All Black haka, former All Black Stu Wilson predicts, their supporters will attempt a "lame comeback", by singing their unofficial national song, Waltzing Matilda.
"That song talks about a jolly swagman who is suspiciously eyeing up his stock," Mr Wilson said.
"It's a sad response to our haka. Look, we don't tell them how to throw a boomerang, so they should stay out of our haka."
But as good hosts for the weekend, we must offer the Australians something to do in the City of Sails.
For the Aussie who likes to feel at home, here's the grim Mt Eden Prison, near enough to Eden Park.
Misbehave at the game, and the NZ Police will be happy to escort you there.
Stu Wilson believes that after the final whistle tonight Aussie supporters could be in need of a good cry.
But a laugh is the perfect antidote to tears of depression.
The Comedy Club on Queen St is hosting two shows tonight, at 8 and 10.30, $20 and $10 respectively. Tonight's hosts are Michelle A'Court and Jeremy Elwood.
The club promises it will not take the mickey out of transtasman visitors (remember, most New Zealand humour goes beyond bad language and basic sexual references, so concentrate hard).
If a laugh's not your style, you could climb the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
The $65 experience takes about 90 minutes and includes spectacular views of Auckland's volcanos.
A great view of Auckland can also be had from the 328m Sky Tower.
You can even make a controlled bungy jump off it, falling 192m in 16 seconds and reaching speeds of about 75km/h.
If that's not your thing, how about visiting one of Auckland's ten-pin bowling alleys, where underarm bowling is allowed.
Or perhaps a cruise out to a beautiful Waiheke Island vineyard, for the novel treat of drinking in moderation.
For fresh air at a black-sand beach, take a trip to Piha, a wild west coast beach famous for its surf
Today or tomorrow, take a trip around the Waitemata Harbour on an America's Cup racing yacht.
The cruise will give a grasp of what it takes to go fast over water - a feeling we understand hasn't been experienced in Australian waters since about 1983.
