Adam Stephen Fisher, 27, worked in the Perpetual Trust offices on the first floor of the Pyne Gould Corporation building as a financial analyst.
He was confirmed as one of the deceased by police in the weeks following the quake.
Adam was engaged to Becky Gane and had two children, three-year-old Jack and baby Ashton who was born 10 days after his father was killed.
His brother, Simon Fisher, told the Herald on March 1 that he had hardly slept during the week following the earthquake.
