Police investigating the apparent disappearance of a New Zealander in Australia are no longer actively searching for him, a spokeswoman says.
The last sighting of Whakatane man Jamie Stephen Herdman, 26, was at the small town of Daly Waters, about 600km south of Darwin, on November 30.
