CITROEN driver Sebastian Loeb closed to within one point of world championship leader Petter Solberg (Subaru) when he won the Propecia Rally of New Zealand at the weekend.
The Frenchman finished 49.8s ahead of Finn Marcus Gronholm in a Peugeot, with Norwegian Solberg over a minute down in third.
Cody Crocker (Subaru) headed off Xavier Pons (Mitsubishi) and Toshihiro Arai (Subaru) in Group N.
Mark Tapper was first resident Kiwi home, followed by Emma Gilmour and Malcolm Stewart, all in Mitsubishi Lancers.
PETE NIKOLAISON was on hand to capture the action for Mostly Motorsport.
