An unemployed Martinborough man accused of assaulting volunteer firefighter Peter Fisher has appeared again in Masterton District Court and has been remanded without plea on a raft of charges.
Milton Haira 25, faced one charge of threatening to kill. He had also been charged with four counts of common assault. An original holding charge of assault had been upgraded to one charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Haira was remanded in custody by Judge Chris Touhy until March 4.
