A Lower Hutt woman accused of killing her hours-old baby daughter is mum to three other children.
The 28-year-old appeared in court last week charged with murdering her baby some time between June 1 and June 29.
A police spokeswoman said she had three other children.
One had been adopted out, while the other two were living with grandparents.
